Job Description
Seeking dynamic individual to be the first impression representative for customers visiting or calling our office. The successful candidate will be the first stop for customer service inquiries and routing. Ideal candidate will possess excellent social communications and interpersonal skills while practicing compassion, patience, and enthusiasm. No insurance experience is required, but candidate must have an ability to demonstrate experience providing strong service skills and ability to multi-task while exhibiting discretion, mindfulness, respect, and empathy. Working hours are Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm. Duties and Responsibilities Support and administrative functions with minimal supervision including, but not limited to: • Answering phones, managing customer inquiries, and providing direction • Accepting and applying customer payments • Copying/Scanning • Greeting customers and directing them to appropriate agency representative • Incoming and Outgoing phone support and customer service to existing and potential customers • Intake of policy change requests This description in no way implies or states that these are the sole duties to be performed by the successful candidate. Candidate Competencies Collaborator Ability to relate to others Adaptive learner Attentive to detail Dedicated Committed to continuous learning Focused on customer service Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products Type minimum of sixty words per minute Qualifications High School Diploma or GED, and five years customer service in administrative position is preferred. Successful candidate must be willing to obtain P&C license within first year of employment, to be coordinated by employer.
